China’s railway operating mileage is6%of the world’s, conversion volume is24%of the world’s, conversion density is4times the world average. Heavy railway transportation makes railway traffic accidents are unavoidable. Railway rescue crane can move on the railway track and do some rescue, troubleshooting, cargo handling and building construction. Many Chinese railway rescue crane are using old-fashioned hydraulic control mode. This control method not only is difficult to operate, but also have lower working efficiency. Moreover its components will produce mechanical loss by using for a long period of time, and poor maintainability. Now, some domestic new railway rescue crane use an electric control system with a controller as its core arithmetic unit. The advanced control mode not only has simple operation, high reliability and high efficiency, but also can save energy and protect environment. But this kind of crane electric control system is dependent on foreign technology and equipment too much. To some extent, it restricts the development of railway rescue crane in China. This topic is committed to give some help to promote the development of domestic railway rescue crane electric control system. It adopts the SHCAN2000fieldbus control system (Including SHCAN6XXX series field control units, SHCANCFG configuration debugging software, Network adapter, etc.) produced by Dalian Sanhe instrument development company to control the lower part of railway rescue crane.In this topic, get a basic understanding of railway rescue crane’s structure, the main process and hydraulic control system of the main mechanism in railway rescue crane’s lower part. Then dissected the control requirements of the legs and design a control system for the lower part of railway rescue crane based on SHCAN2000system. It adopts CAN bus to connect field control units, industrial PC (through the network adapter connection), bus switches and bus sensors, to finish the transfer of signal and data, so all parts can implement real time communication. The legs finish actions by configuration and debugging. The design for hardware is include setting for network adapter, selection for field control units and I/O address assignment. The design for software is include design for flow chart, bit address assignment, CAN bus communication address assignment, configuration and debugging.
