Design And Implementation Of Student Information Management System Based On.NET

With the increasing investment of education and popularization of the nine-year compulsory education, the highly educated talents with good quality are in great demand in society so all colleges gradually enlarge their enrollments to satisfy it. A university in Xinjiang has developed a lot. At present the university has two campuses with6000teachers and students totally. With the dramatic increase in the number of students, the management of school is facing the severe test. Now the traditional manual management pattern of the college hasn’t already caught up with the pace of the intelligent management. The popularization and application of computer can offer the most fundamental guarantee to the intelligent management of students’ information. The use of information technology can greatly improve the work efficiency, strengthen the communication between the department cooperation and save a lot of paper costs, which will generate huge economic profit. Therefore, to develop a suitable student information management system is very important.The student information management system development aims to help the school management. it is designed according to the present situation of existing management and the increasing demand of school. Through the analysis and survey, this management system needs to complete the following basic functional modules:system setting module, department management module, student information management module, student status change management module, reward and punishment management module, and help module. Users can do different operations according to different authorities such as query, update and delete. Each module can finish concrete function and operation. In the design of module the dissertation tries to improve the visual quality of modules and interface so users can have an easy operation environment. In the process of designing the system the Microsoft Visual Studio and NET are used as open platform, VB.NET as development language and SQL SERVER2008as background database in this dissertation while the B/S mode is used in the method of access system. Where the campus network can reach, users can log in and complete query and management.After a period of application, it can conclude from the feedback of users that the every function module of system has reasonable design, strong practicability and good maneuverability. It meets the actual needs of users. By actual operation the users with different authorities can quickly obtain what they want. For example, students can search their information and score quickly. The system administrator can add,query or delete users. The system ultimately achieves the transformation from manual management to computerized management. It realizes the goal of improving work efficiency, resource standard management, information circulation in time and resource sharing in every department.
