Jiaxing College Student Information Management System Design And Development

With the construction of society and the development of modern management, computer is playing an increasingly important role in the education field. Electronic information management system is an important area integrated the application of modern information technology, and is an important means for education. Computer-aided instruction not only brings convenience to the teaching but also improves the teachers'management level and the quality of education. The information management of students is an important and complementary aspect corresponding to teaching while teaching is the main task of modern education.In this paper, the computer is used for the education management. Based on software engineering, integrated use of the related knowledge, including database technology, information systems analysis and design, a number of management functions about student education are accomplished. By constructing the management information system, some features such as information inputting, querying and editing are combined to realize the student centralized management. First, after analysis and designing the system, the feasibility of the system and customer needs are clearly determined. Then, the system designing concepts and methods are introduced, and in accordance with the theories of modular principle of the system, the functional modules are split and the detailed analysis of student management information system is given. Finally, using the object-oriented development tools, the design goals of the system are achieved.Based on the characteristics of the system, the object-oriented design and development tool Delphi7 is chose for the software design while the back-end database is the Access 2000 (ADO component access). The whole system consists of the database files and the database management system. While the background Access 2000 database files is focus on the storage and management of the student information by means of files, the front management system provides basic operations and managements.
