Design And Implementation Of Student Information Management System For Higher Vocational Colleges Based On B/s Mode

In recent years, education career of higher vocational colleges has developed rapidly, and the number of students become larger and larger, and the volume of various informations of college students has been doubled, which imposes heavy burden on school teaching management. Establishing students information management system with high performance can greatly improve the efficiency of the students' information management. Computer information management systems has many advantages, such as easy search and retrieval quickly, high reliability, big storage, good secrecy, long life etc, which is incomparable with manual processing. How to raise the level of information management system of college students and build a system according to features of colleges themselves, has become one of the important subject for informatization construction of college. This article discusses mainly on how to design a student information management system suitable for students of Electronic information college. In terms of extensive investigations and analysis of feasibility, the design of the system is fit to practical requirements of Electronic information college.This article designs and achieves the student information management system based on the technique of ASP, which is based on comprehensive analysis of the current situation and existing software of student information management. This article, based on the demand of school's system, provides the functional configuration of students'information management system, forms the E-R Data Model, realizes the module of information entering, inquiring and modifying and message leaving, thus finally finish the design and realization of electronic and information school's management system. This system employs B/S structure, develops Web interface with ASP, uses Dreamweaver MX 2004 as platform, and combines Microsoft SQL Server 2000 to achieve the development process of the system. It has the characteristic of a friendly interface, convenient operation, direct search, confidentiality and low cost. Thus can visualize and systemize students'mess information, and improve the level of the student management work, make the student information management to achieve the basic purpose of "paperless office".
