Starting from the functions according to requirements, description for function and performance and safety in detail, then it designed of CATV network management system based on GIS on the basis of the demand analysis. The design includes Summary of design, the design of each module of the system function and database design. The main functions include project management, warehouse management network planning and management and system management etc. Finally, radio and television network management system is developed based on Map GIS.This system realizes the physical resource management and visualization of logical resources, forming the integration of attribute data and graphic data. Thus it improved the management capacity and service quality. It also reduced the service cost to provided efficient services for network management. In the practical application process, greatly improve the management level and efficiency of cyber source.
