Due to the necessity of strategic development and competition advantage’s enhancement, Baili company raises new investment in information techniques and system development. This thesis discusses the software development of Baili Company’s marketing information management system in this background, including the system’s demand analysis, design and implementation.This software uses multiple layers structure which includes client view layer, Web server layer and database server layer. In client view layer, it uses browser windows to realize direct interactive with the users. In intermediate business logic layer, it uses a group of business management modules on the server to complete transaction processing function. The above three layer function units compose the system’s whole functions. First, it introduces the system’s industry application background and related business management and software technology basis. In demand analysis, it focuses on discussing the system’s marketing basic information management function, order form processing function, inventory management function, sale transaction management function and after-sale service management function. On the basis of system demand analysis, it discusses the system’s software outlined design, database design and main modules’ internal detailed design scenario. Furthermore, it discusses the software’s programming and testing examples, and summarizes the system development at last.This system is programmed and developed by J2EE and Oracle database. Web server uses Oracle application’s internal web server processes. We already finished all the system’s function modules’programming bug testing and corrected all software faults founded in the testing. The system has completed functions and runs stable now.
