| With the rapid development of telecommunication industry, the continuous improvement of user needs and the boom of next-generation communication technologies, the billing support system, as the founder of many new business offered by mobile network operators, plays an increasingly important role. It has become the core competition of telecommunication industry. As the3G trend long-awaited is at the corner, will the billing support system is prepared to cope with it? This thesis will focus on related theory and practical work about it.First, this thesis analyzes the billing characteristics and service types of3G and the domestic and international billing status of3G. Secondly, and it analyzes the existing problem of billing system and the cause of it, and the necessity of constructing the online billing system. In addition, this thesis gives the distinction between offline and online charging and elaborates the business characteristics of the online billing system. At the same time, this thesis has conducted a study of the online billing reference system defined for3GPP. Considered the developed situation of convergent billing system, the thesis has studied the architecture program and primary function of the system and has analyzed the position of OCS in this system and had listed the advantage of this fresh system. This thesis has designed the core of the integration of online billing system----OCS in detail, such as the flows, tables and so on. Finally, this thesis summarizes the work related to this project and prospects the future of3G billing system.The research results of the thesis were adopted and have been performing well. |
