With the development of electronic information industry, all kinds of portable electronic devices such as mobile phone digital camera and tablet will come out. Each device has one special matching charger which is a great waste of social resources and harmful for the environment. When people changing a new electronic device, they leave the old charger unused or just throw them away. The main problem is that the charger is not universal, even some of the products of same brand use different chargers, additionally, almost they are all wired chargers, not easy for users to carry and do charging. We cannot live without mobile phone today, the product with wireless charging function will bring convenience to our daily lives.The compatibility is the key point of the wireless charging, Qi standard ensure the compatibility of different brands. Wireless charging, the technology of electromagnetic, transform the electric current to electromagnetic power at transmitting end and transform the electromagnetic wave to electric current for mobile phone battery charging. The set of Qi standard give one uniform technical criterion which enable different brand of mobile phones using the same charger. The president of Wireless Power Consortium Menno Treffers states the electromagnetic induction technology is the base of the standard, comparing with the other technology, it has more efficiency and safety. The Qi standard has the definition of interface, performance and standard, Qi certified wireless charger can charge the mobile phones certified by Qi.The article introduced three kinds of wireless charging technology including electromagnetic induction, wireless wave and electromagnetic resonance. Mainly discussed the principle and solution of wireless charging which based upon electromagnetic induction. Analysis all aspects of influence’on the efficiency, for example coil positioning etc. Give out solutions of controlling circuit for both transmitting end and receiving end. Provide the theory and method for the mobile phone product which will integrate the function of wireless charging.
