With the development of highway construction, growing traffic and congestion problems have become the big challenges of the current highway management. With the improvement of people’s living standards and socio-economic development, existing manual toll lane could no longer meet the needs of highway. ETC (Electronic Toll Collection) system is an effective method for solving the problem of highway congestion. In this paper, we focus on the structure and function of ETC toll system based on the analysis of the structure of the ETC toll system. And then design the ETC Lanes Toll Software.This dissertation first describes the status of ETC system and software research at home and abroad, analysis ETC software architecture, specific features and related technologies. Second, ETC software undertook a needs analysis, ETC software modular separation of research as a whole, and a logical structure of software design. Again according to the software parts of the detailed design of the main features of each module. This dissertation is based on c++language development, uses related tools box of library design software has been implemented. The part of the test cases and results are presented.Through the implementation of the software, can be in the vehicle through the ETC lanes, using ETC software for vehicle information record linkage related mechanical and electrical equipment, automatic tolls deductions, such as multiple functions, meet the needs of daily work of the ETC lanes.
