Design And Implementation Of Lane Software Of Highway Network Communication And Video Surveillance

There are many problems existed in Traditional Windows highway toll collection system, so it can not meet the increasing requirements of the charge. Therefore, the network communication and video surveillance which are key technologies of highway toll collection system in Linux are studied.Firstly, the current status and prospect of highway are introduced, and the purpose and significance of highway toll collection system are discussed. According to the existed software problems which run under windows, the scheme which upgrade in Linux system is proposed in this thesis. Secondly, the user needs is analyzed. And according to the analysis, the hardware and software environment are presented. Then the key files which are needed for this software and the implementation method are pointed out.The main research themes are network communication and video surveillance. Network communication plans the topology and security of lanes network throughout this system. The network security and the realization of network communication interface are presented in this thesis. Additional, the client server mode and network print are included in the network communication. And the Linux socket can achieve network print.Then, the video surveillance technology is introduced in this thesis, a detailed analysis of this design and implementation of the interface are presented, which includes OpenCV video capture, VDM (Video Display Metafile) superposition character etc. License plate recognition technology is included into the video surveillance technology. This technology is introduced in this thesis.Finally the software test and its results are presented in this thesis.
