An important question for discussion in Intelligent Transport System is the realization of close and semiautomatic expressway charge, which is a key step for realizing automatic charge and management in the expressway. Semiauomatic lane toll is considered a base for this realization. So the design and realization of semiautomatic lane toll is very important for the realization of high efficient management on the expressway. A close and semiautomatic toll expressway is designed to be composed of toll lane, toll station and toll center. Lane toll system is responsible for traffic control, collecting the information of passing vehicle, recording these information and calculating toll.This thesis only disserate the design and implementation of lane toll system.This thesis is based on mechanical and electrical rebuild project of Jiao Zhou Bay expressway. This project aims to use semiautomatic lane toll mode to replace the original manual lane toll mode. New mode have more advanced requirement on dependability and realtime. For this,LAN is constructed and many devices are put into.According to the requirement of semiautomatic lane toll system, toll operation flow is analysed, hardware structure is designed. UML is used to establish the static model and dynamic model in the system design. Software entity form based on the class diagram. Complicated time sequence and event transfer condition are confirmed. Consequently the software development efficiency is increased and the software structure become more reasonable. During the development process, Some software models are developed. PCL-725 card is the core device in the input and output model. How to check the input signal and set output signal of PCL-725 card is researched. Through the research,A good control effect is getted. Also, with the use of the multi-thread technology, call function technology, DLL technology and profile reading and writing technology, the complicated degree of development become lower and the software system flexibility is increased. After development, through simulating the environment of express lane, software simulated test is completed and auto-test is realized in part, which settling the problem of heavy work and low efficiency under the condition of manual software test.In the chapter five, based on the digital image processing, checking vehicle figure technology is researched. Robert operator, Sobel operator, Prewitt operator and LOG operator is compared on the aspect of vehicle edge detection. Through this comparision, A new edge detection arithmetic is advanced, which is more accurate and has some degree of anti-interference. The detect effect is increased under the condition of experimentation, which is helpful for the calculation of vehicle characteristic parameterAt present, new lane toll system has been in use, meet entirely the new toll mode requirement, increase the efficiency of entire express toll system.
