Virtual Learning Community For Exhibitor Manage System

Exhibition managing is an information-intensive business which is conducted through Exhibition Management System. During an exhibition the staff are required to give timely and effective solution to the problem they encounter. Intraditional training of the staff the new hands are tutored by experts through demonstration and practice.This apprentice-type of training has the advantage of being directed to particular person and situation, but it has two limits in being practiced in modern corporation. One is there are too many new hands to be trained. And the other is, with this training method, the new staff can only get direction from one or several experts instead of all, which is not favorable to the sharing of knowledge. To solve this problem, this article introduces VLC into EMS and by incorporating VLC into EMS it realizes a marvelous joint of VLC and EMS.When the staff members encounter problems in exhibition managing practice, they can presently resort to VLC's case bank for help. If similar case is spotted in it, they can take recommended measures as in the model case. If not, they can consult other members or experts who are using VLC simultaneously or non-simultaneous interaction by using CMC, and finally come up with a solution.This article explores the system structure of VLC as well the establishment of its case bank, case retrieval system, examination of the validity of its data, the design of CMC. The last chapter introduces two ways of using VLC. One is to look for solution to problems through VLC and the other is to conduct collaborative learning by using VLC.
