With the rapid growth in the importance of highway traffic mileage, highway in theroad network has become increasingly prominent, and the manual toll collection modeof traditional apparently increasingly exposed its deficiencies. One is the serious chargemoney loss, financial management confusion. The second is due to parking fees, causedthe vehicle delay, energy consumption increase greatly and the pollution of theenvironment. More important is to increase sharply with the traffic, toll station forvehicle queuing slow and blocked seriously, which has become the bottleneck of theroad. In intelligent transportation system (ITS, intelligent transportation system) appears,the use of electronic computer technology, electronic technology and moderncommunication technology, the establishment not parking charge system (ETC,Electronic Toll Collection) makes the vehicle and road intelligent. To avoid thephenomenon of the loss of toll fare fundamentally, to solve the traffic congestion, andother defects, improve the safety and efficiency of road running, realize the road trafficenvironment safe and fast.This thesis introduces the domestic and international highway operation andcharges, comprehensive research and expounds China’s Yangtze River Delta not parkingcharge system used by the technology. Jiangxi introduced the existing toll collectionsystem of Expressway in Jiangsu province ", front, middle, low special" Lane layoutscheme and a system based on C/S software architecture. The Yangtze River Delta andthe province is quite big, how can you make two regions together?On this basis, thesystem needs analysis, to meet the needs of vehicle information using wireless sensorreading into, the highway, remote database access through the network, the realizationof automatic charging without parking.And the overall design of the system hardwarestructure, software structure and system function of each unit process, database structure,data interface definition based on the analysis of demand, design the overall technicalscheme of electronic charging system without parking lane system, designed the systemstructure, has carried on the detailed design of the hardware system and the softwarearchitecture; includes access to the remote network database design, module design,display module design and module design, entrance, and has carried on the realizationof. The long distance ID card and card reader module for wireless sensor, read into a vehicle, the information superhighway, taking ARM S3C2410as controller, theoperation of remote access, network database through the network, and display theresults of charge, finally realizes the functions of the ETC system based.
