In this paper, we propose a new method-wireless electronic menu system, whichis based on embedded technology, wireless LAN technology and database technology,can provide an effective way to deal with the customer order, to overcome theshortcomings of traditional methods.Guest self serviee system using C/S architecture, the wireless client self-helpclients, kitchen wireless client and PC servers, all of which form a wireless orderingsystem to provide a self-known and menu delivery order process to automaticallyproeess simple and convenient. Self-help customer orderingfood, adding dishes tocancel the dish, giving advice, giving scores, watch live video, the client settingfunction in the kitchen trade clients, databases UPDAT dishes can be ordered from a PCserver and the chef cooking dishes can be confirmed. PC server has the function ofvideo capture, storage, transportation, capture frames, formed in food managementsoftware, the staff nformation management, bill printing, database baek up etc,PC server through a wireless network to communicate with a client, the head fixedon China’s most widely used name mini2440development board, with toueh screen.Client embedded Linux operating system, Web browser to IIS via HTTP protocolrequests and Internet Information Server database using ASP to access the storageSQLite database.Embedded: Menu Information and ordered dishes. PC server using aMySQL database to save information and CapturePro3.0video capture plugin thatprovides video capture and video servers.
