With the tax department’s information technology process promoted. People, worksin the tax department, have to management complexity work in the day time. Itinvolves a lot of computer information management, hardware supplies and a varietyof business-related hardware and software maintenance. Those complexity works letstaff too easily forget to record in time, lead, in hindsight, to done not timely andcomprehensively. In this situation, a tax information technology work platform isnecessary to be invented for those staff to help information manage. It should to makestatistic for staff computer information and daily work, furthermore summing up thework stage, conference information management functions are needed. This paper hasbeen designed and developed a Tax Information Management System (TIMS) for thestaff of Ziyang tax department. Hope it’s a good information management platform forZiyang department and make their work efficiently. In this paper this system is basedon the management content of Ziyang tax department personnel informationmanagement work.Firstly, in this paper the e-government applications and the development process oftax department information technology of domestic and international have beenintroduced. All point that, J2EE technology and B/S network development mode arethe key technologies to build the platform of e-government and tax department ofinformation technology. And in the development of information technology, theyplayed a huge role. Then, in the Key technical presentations, analysis this systemdesign applied and it advantages for implementation. Importantly introduce itsimplementation of J2EE core technologies (including Java Servlet, JSP and JDBC) andB/S model (its development model and architecture).Secondly, this paper based on the function of the system, performance requirements,technique, economics and operational feasibility to demonstrate in detail aftercombined with needs that come from local tax department information management.With its requirements, Systematic framework, function modules and database havebeen designed. There are7modules in this system. System login Module, Inventoryand supplies statistics Module, Maintenance and replacement supplies statisticsModule, Software maintenance information statistics Module, Computer information statistics Module, Conference management Module and File archiving Module. Atthese modules foundation, the platform functions and database have been designedfully and developed based on Window XP system, Microsoft SQL Server2005database system, myEclipse5.1.1a development platform and Java language systems.Finally, in this paper, the system’s functions have been tested by use the informationof local tax department information management business of Ziyang to ensure thesystem’s reliability. The results show that, this system can normally achievedepartmental information management. It include computer information, inventory,supplies information, maintenance and replacement of hardware and suppliesinformation, software maintenance information, conference information anddocumentation archive management briefings.
