This paper has firstly expounded the types of brain-computer interface and its status ofresearch around the world. Some developed countries value the research on brain-computerinterface highly, and expect to combine idiodynamics and personated research of robotcontrol to get people away from battlefields. Brain-computer interface devices have also beenapplied in fields such as Network games, Entertainments, Competitive sports training,Education for all-round development and so on. By analyzing the difference among EEGsunder different states, then exercising the brain under some specific software to make itquickly enter the best state of working, learning or relaxing. In our country, some universitiesand institutes have also made researches on brain-computer interface, but still fall behinddeveloped countries.In the last decades, the continue developing of computer graphics has promoted thewidely application of virtual reality in fields of construction, entertainment, science and soon.For the raising requirement of verisimilitude of virtual scene, many simulation algorithmswere proposed. Particle system is known as the most efficient algorithm simulating irregularobject. Experts have made research on many aspects of particle system, and scenery such asraindrop, snowflake, blaze, cloud, fireworks have been well simulated with the application ofit. For the raising requirement of interaction of virtual scene, this paper proposed that tocombine the brain-computer interface and virtual reality technique to implement the controlof3D virtual scene with thoughts.The main works of this paper are as follows:Firstly, some developments were made to an EEG device: MindWave. A control programof the signal gather was designed to gather the brain wave. The value and waveform of eachbrainwave were demonstrated. Then using the EEG signal extracted by MindWave to controlthe stopping, moving, turning and turning angle of an intelligent vehicle. Theoriescorresponded to virtual reality technique and particle system were researched, and the basicprinciple of particle system was analyzed in detail. The algorithm framework of particlesystem was summarized and OpenGL was introduced. he mathematical model of snowflakeand fireworks were analyzed. The research was focused on the distribution area, all kinds ofproperties and moving model. The particle system model of snow scenery and fireworksbursting were summarized and the algorithm of Diamond-Square was researched. With thepurpose of enhance the sense of reality of virtual scene during the modeling of3D scene, this paper has applied Diamond-Square algorithm to generate the3D terrain and sky, and addedthe model of tree. The snow scenery and fireworks bursting were simulated with theapplication of display list, texture mapping, color blending, pulverization effect, illuminationeffect and billboarding and so on. At last, to enhance the interaction and immersion of thevirtual scene, this paper added the control signal of Attention and Meditation in EEGs toparticle system to control the properties of scenery and fireworks bursting particles in thevirtual scene.
