In the fast and accurate to create all kinds of virtual geographical environment,and usually in the scene to simulate all kinds of static and dynamic special effects,including rain and snow,water,clouds,terrain,trees,dust,etc,thus improving thevirtual reality. And these special effects from shape and state are irregular, if usetraditional geometry theory is hard to a real realize these objects, and computationalquantity is big, generating speed slow. In recent years the rapid development of theparticle system method can be a very good solve irregular shape of the object simulationmodeling, based on the careful analysis and summary on the basis of previous workrelated, from the point of view of graphic simulation with real time and realistic, asthe goal, focusing on the process of motor vehicle movement produced by the dust thisspecial effects, establish their movement model, the method of particle system torealize the dust effect and the rain and snow effect.In the interactive graphic simulation system of dust that the effect is very useful,at present the dynamic model of dust still has not publicly model, the paper analyzesthe dust from the physical process and influence factors of dust produced, and probesinto the basic theory of particle system,considering the needs of virtual scene real-timedisplay, research of the particle systems is shown that the algorithm is fast, putforward to improve the real-time performance of the particle systems is simplifiedmethod and the key technology of the particle systems is realistic. To construct thevirtual environment platform, including motor vehicles and the sky model, this paperOutlines the virtual terrain modeling method and algorithm, and summarizes theOpenGL use skills. According to the virtual environment special effect to need, to thedust particles from the physical process of detailed analysis is proposed based onphysics, sums up the experience of the process model of VC++OpenGL and for theplatform and realize the dust effect.The rain and snow is a common phenomenon in the nature is an indispensable partof virtual scene, there have been a lot of the research of this aspect, this article inmeet reality based on the needs of the real time as the starting point, to use face figure yuan building particles,the particle production control areas and produce, used limitedthe number of particles to display effect, will rain particles is simplified to themovement of uniform linear motion, with random process to control the snow fallproduce floating particle effects and the methods to reduce computation cost, speed upthe rendering speed of the system.
