With the advancement of computer technology,simulator techniques have been applied successfully in the development of many important products. The 3D virtual simulation transforms geographical entity and phenomenon in actual life into 3D space in certain way,and it expresses image using point﹑line﹑surface﹑note and so on.It is of vital significance to cut down the production cost,to shorten the innovation period,to improve the production quality and reduce the loss as well.This thesis is based on the research of scene of 3D virtual system, adopts object oriented technique, employs OPENGL function to realize display and optimization of the picture. 3D virtual simulation system which is based on photography information has offered a lot of view to observe the picture. This thesis analyzes several kinds of domestic and international 3D modeling methods.It introduces several kinds of visual methods of 3D model, explains the match question between models,developes and realizes a preliminary 3D virtual simulation system which is based on photography information. This system divides data into three layers, data is encapsulated in three classes: CMyX, CMyMap, CmapVertex, the layers are from high to low. This kind of data structure improves the processing speed of data,and changes traditional serial processing into parallel processing. With the development of photography technology,the data of photography will increase,we have adopted segmentation of the data model to the display of the photography picture.We adopt technology of segmentation of mesne data, have solved the problem of carrying on the picture with slower processing speed, and make the performance of the 3D virtual simulation system promoted.Practice has proved that this system has solved segmentation of vast data,using 2D picture to simulate true 3D space,and that has offered the functions of different manipulation pictures. This system can enlarge and shrink, and allow movement in all directions and watching the scene, it reaches the effect of simulation and displaying the scene.This system has realized the characteristics such as the interaction﹑facticity and so on that the vital simulation system needs.
