In the modern production process, it is usually uses PLC or the MCU to realize theautomated control. The PLC has complex structure, huge system and high price. Theprogramming instruction of PLC that produced by different company is dissimilar, so that theprogrammers grasp with difficulty. In small batch and scale production process, using PLC asthe controller, increased the production cost. Or using the MCU to take the controller, as aresult of the MCU low in price, may achieve the goal of cost effective, but the MCUprogramming and the peripheral circuit design are quite complex, from this will bring longercycle of design and production and other questions.After analyzing the programmable controller’s basic principle, the MCU is used to as thecontrol core,object oriented programming thought and method is adopted,realizes the simplecontroller device’s research and development design which was suitable in small scale andbatch production, in order to reduce the production cost and simplified programming. Themain research content includes:1) The core control chip: The SST89E516RD MCU in simple controller device has twoprogramming memory blocks divided into Block0and the Block1. Block1saves thedownloading program in IAP mode, and the Block0memory blocks saves the applicationprogram. The MCU downloads the executive program code which transmission from PC tothe Block0by the downloading program that stored in Block1.2)Hardware structure: The simple controller device using CD4094and CD4021serialchip constructs and expands controller’s digital input module and output module. The serialchip realized data input and output, not only saved the system hardware resources, but alsobenefited for chip cascade and facilitated in system I/O expansion.3) Serial communication: The simple controller device uses the serial module tocomplete the controller and the PC data communication, realizing the goal of executiveprogram’s downloading and the controller condition monitoring.4)PC software: The PC software uses VB6.0programming language, which contains the executive program’s deal software and the monitoring software. The executive program’s dealsoftware completes the program’s edition, translation and downloads. The monitoringsoftware receives and saves data from simple controller device, then uses Human MachineInterface contact surface to demonstrate the real-time condition and realize real-timemonitoring.
