| The cultural industry has developed rapidly in recent years, but there is nocomments on its management. Project management is a good method used inconstruction engineering ifeld and has been gradually shifted to the IT industry afterdecades development. In order to operate better the cultural activities and expand thescale of cultural projects, Auspicious Chinese Festivals Project of Hunan People’sBroadcasting Station started to introduce the project management philosophy andmethods into the project to achieve social and economic benefit results.Firstly, this paper introduces the application of project management in recent yearsand the development of cultural industry’s basic situation, elaborates the theoretic andpractical signiifcance of the research, reviews the foreign and domestic projectmanagement on the related research, and makes choice of the research contents andmethods. Secondly，taking Auspicious Chinese Festivals as the research object, thepaper studies the operation of Auspicious Chinese festival and the characteristics ofproject management, discusses the necessity and feasibility of Auspicious ChineseFestivals and the implementation of the project management, analyzes the projectmanagement plan, start, implementation, control and close stages, and ifnds out theadvantages and disadvantages on the basis of SWOT analysis of the projectmanagement. Thidly，the paper puts forward suitable project management plan andmeasures according to Auspicious Chinese Festivals development direction in thefuture.According to the research results, project management has made undeniablecontributions to the development and expansion of Auspicious Chinese Festivals. Butif project management should have more positive effects on cultural activities, it mustbe adjusted based on their own characteristics. Each stage should be emphasized inorder to ifnd a management model for their own operations. |
