City Competition And Collaboration Television

In the era of electronic media, television has reached its height. However, there are some realistic problems that we have to face from the perspectives of scientific development, harmonious development and cultural ecological balance. This phenomenon is crucial and quite typical in Xi’an City. Based on real experiences and practical needs this paper attempts to deeply explore the relevance of city to television and its research value, the "inter-station relationship" between Xi’an city TV station and provincial TV station or their power comparison, and the representative columns of livelihood news and their development approaches in provincial and city TV station in the field of city television research and practice. Above all, regarding the research on the relationship between two TV stations in the same city, this paper concentrates on putting forward some feasible countermeasures and constructive suggestions from the important perspective of’Livelihood News’. This paper has four chapters besides introduction and conclusion, respectively are:Chapter1, City TV:the relevance of city to television and its research value; Chapter2,"Inter-station Relationship":from "equal coexistence" to clear differentiation between strong and weak; Chapter3, Livelihood News:Urban Express and Xi’an Zero-distance; Chapter4, coexistence and common development: build a station by its unique features and complementary win-win. Every chapter includes some sections trying to analyze and observe city and provincial news, especially existing conditions and realistic problems of livelihood news with real experiences and faithful expressions permeating throughout this paper. This research will provide reference and have great significance as a result of personal investigations and thinking based on practice.
