While,the repeated quality problems would give warning to domestic companies, and then setoff a wave of quality management in China.This article introduces the Network Concentrator, a RS-232to Ethernet interfaceconvertor based on W5100, which used for construct quality management network. TheNetwork Concentrator collects measurement data via4serial ports, it can generate thequality management information in a particular form by adding the additionalinformation to the measurement data, and then transmit or save the quality managementinformation. A frame of quality management network within the enterprise is given, itprovides a solution of construct quality management network for those measurementinstruments which communicate via RS232/485in the industrial field.The author developed relatively intact the PC program for the Network Concentrator.The program of parameters configuration aims for the convenience of users. Theprogram of collect data based on TCP/IP stores the quality management information inexcel and AQDEF data format to facilitate the analysis and management. The programof store/convert as AQDEF data format can make user adopt Q-DAS qualitymanagement software conveniently and also provide reliable data format for this system.The program of SPC can monitoring process in real time, provides the qualitymanagement function briefly.
