With the advent of the globalization of information,The flat panel display technology changing everyday, the future is to transmit large amounts of information and images in a lightweight carrier. OLED has all solid-state, self-luminous, high brightness, high contrast, ultra-thin, low-cost, low-power, no viewing angle restrictions, wide operating temperature range and many other advantages, so every countries have increased their research efforts, the drive of active matrix grow rapidly in recent years. This article focuses on the OLED display gray scale scan mode, the driving principle a nd system control for a more comprehensive study. In order to achieve high efficiency of64gradation display, the weight value of a nonlinear bit by bit scanning method based on su b-field control method was proposed to solve the problem of traditional gray scale scanning redundancies of time. And according to the hardware and software requirements, design a micro-controller-based planar array OLED display system. The display system designed in this paper used a common portable devices on the market, which was96x64resolution monochrome OLED display. The whole system mainly consists of C8051F020micro-controller, SRAM IS62LV2586chip, Data Flash AT45DB081chip and driver circuit. The system has a simple and easy-integrated circuit, and the significant reduction in the cost of the system can be widely used in small products.
