Green space not only contributes to beautify the urban environment, improves the ecological environment and promotes social development, but also can make people’s life colorful and provide people with an ideal and comfortable leisure entertainment. Water is the source of all lives. In our country, the water resource is severe shortage and low utilization rate. With the increasing of green space area the current situation of water shortage will be even more serious in our country.This paper designs a set of green space micro-irrigation remote monitoring system based on wireless sensor network. The system includes the relay node, data acquisition nodes and electromagnetic valve control nodes. It integrates intelligent, centralization, remote at an organic whole. On the basis of understanding of our country’s current situation of the green space, this paper completes overall scheme design of the system, hardware and software design of each node. Hardware design includes environment parameters acquisition modules, wireless communication modules, power supply and battery management modules, alarm modules and so on. Software design includes wireless communication software design, data transmission software design and the monitoring center software design and so on. The monitoring center has all kinds of control and display interfaces, whose functions are realized by VC++. Interfaces of the monitoring center can convenient for users to manage.Green space micro-irrigation remote monitoring system based on wireless sensor network is able to monitor the environmental information of green space in different areas. This system also can transfer data information in real-time. The management staff can manage all aspects of green space in the office or at home. Therefore, combining green space irrigation technology with automation control theory and sensor technology not only helps to ease the contradiction between economic development and water resources shortage, but also saves a lot of manpower material resources and makes the management of green space more scientific. The research achievements of this system can be applied to agriculture production, golf course and planning programming. It has important practical significance and broad application prospects.
