In this thesis, Data processing of aerostat surveillance radar system is discussed, theory and algorithms of radar data processing focusing on tracking is especially researched.These theory and algorithms including Ambiguity Resolution Algorithms, false alarm filtering algorithms of clutter map, the definition of coordinate system and coordinate transformation algorithm, the target motion model and filtering, data association algorithms such as nearest neighbor (NN) and probabilistic data association (PDA), track initiation methods such as sliding window method and Hough transform.Based on the above theory and algorithms, simulations and practices are carried out by using Matlab and C++. In the same time, to meet the high capacity, real-time requirements of aerostat Surveillance radar, A new software architecture is designed, instead of using array stucture, Two-way linked list, Priority queue are used to storage plots and tracks.By optimizing the processing efficiency, completing the function of radar data processing and performance requirents.
