As a core component of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) is the basic infrastructure to realize information exchanges among heterogeneous enterprise services. ESB addresses the problem of searching and routing services in distributed heterogeneous systems based on Message-Oriented Middleware (MOM), intelligent routing and XML data transformation. However, there are some drawbacks in current ESB, such as static addressing, simple message routing model and message transformation, which make the performance and functionality of ESB restricted. This thesis aims to research and design the message routing mechanism in JTang Synergy according to ESB development requirements and specifications, so as to make the message routing of JTang Synergy more intelligent and the transformation function more convenient. The thesis reviews the state of the art in ESB message routing and message transformation, extends traditional ESB message routing mechanism, provides dynamic content-based routing in addition to static itinerary-based routing, and adds several message routing rules and transformation patterns based on Z language modeling. The proposed message mechanism provides dynamic, intelligent routing mechanism, diverse message rules and flexible message transformation, so that the performance and functionality of ESB product has been greatly improved, as well as its reusability and flexibility. The paper focuses on the design of an intelligent message routing architecture and flexible message transformation system. Our work includes: design message routing rules and message transformation model in details from the perspective of modeling, process and configuration; describe the content-based routing processes; and develops a graphical tool of XSLT to facilitate users to realize messages transformation.
