Distributed Information Play And Platform Of Search And Management

In modern society, multimedia information, including texts, photographs, pictures,sound, animations videos and so on, can be found everywhere. In recent years, theapplication of multimedia in advertising amplifies the penetrability of the advertisinginformation dissemination, and is well received by the public. However, the previousmultimedia content management system is ineffective in managing the multimediacontent and terminal equipments. So many companies have to spend a lot ofmanpower and financial resources in the management of player content as well as themanagement and maintenance of terminal equipments, which significantly affects theeconomic efficiency of enterprises and social benefits.Based on the problems of the current media playing system, this article focuseson the research and development of distributed media playing system. The systemmainly consists of two parts:1) the management of the client’s player, achieving theoperations management and maintenance of multimedia terminals and receivingcustomized information and at the same time displaying the information on theterminal equipments (digital signage, LED display, etc.);2) the management ofmultimedia content, achieving the collection, review and distribution of playinginformation, providing content and material for the media player client.In terms of the playback client management part, with the large number and broadcoverage of multimedia terminals leading to inefficiencies and difficulties in theoperation and maintenance of multimedia terminals, this paper proposes a treelikeorganizational model of the terminal network. This model is based on the overlaynetwork as a basic tree topology, and the entire media system is divided into severalsecurity domains, which is a effective solution to the organization and management ofthe distributed media terminals. This paper also provides a media player design andimplementation of the client. And for multimedia content management, this articlepresents multimedia content management database design, system architecture designand implementation.Finally, the design and development of this system are summarized, and someideas and thoughts are put forward towards the deficiencies.
