The Design Of Emmbedded Wireless Multimedia Terminal Platform

With the development of supply chain technology, the mobile multimedia terminal device comes to be a important development direction of this domain. The suppply chain technology requests supply chain multimedia terminal has more functions than nowdays mobile multimedia terminal that adapt for supply chain. And in the future, supply chain multimedia terminal must implement more functions that nowdays multimedia terminal cannot satisfy. The background of this thesis is the project of "The Research of Mobile Supply Chain Smart Terminal Device and the Development of Original Sample". This thesis focus on the research and design of embedded wireless multimedia terminal which has multi-interface, powerful ability of computing and expanding.The thesis first analyzes nowadays multimedia terminal technology and the application of mobile multimedia terminal device. Then the thesis researches the technologies and application environment of mobile smart terminal. After analyzes the system design request, the thesis begins from the expandability and modulation, designs the architecture of the system which puts the mainboard as system core and chooses compatible function modules. In the following, the thesis chooses the PXA255 processor as system CPU after researches the interfaces and performance request of mainboard design. And then divides the system hardware design into modules according to the performances of processor and the characters of interfaces, and complete the mainboard circuit design.At last, the thesis set the test environment for the design request, and provides the specific test measure. It is provided that the system can achieve the design request and can change the configurations to be used in more environments.
