The manual method in management has made it difficult to query, modify and upset the equipment information. With the increasing development of information technology, the network has entered the stage of new business and application, and there are various kinds of equipment now. It has been the main social trends that how to use the adventuring information technology to build the management mode that aims to cut the management processes, to reduce the burdens of management and raise the efficiency of information by informationizing it.Firstly, the thesis provides an overview and the current situation of management system for metrology equipment at home and abroad, points out the research purposes and significance of it. And then, it analyzes the system which include business requirement, function requirement, information requirements and so on. According to this analysis, the system is designed which includes Software Architecture Design, Function Module design and Database Design. Finally, it describes the testing process of the system.System uses the B/S three layers architecture, the development platform using Visual Studio2005ASP.NET application design, database using SQL Server2005programming language choice, language for C#. The server used to run the minimum configuration requirements (all Chinese environment) operating system Windows Server2003, IE5and above versions, browser software, respectively by Windows XP and Internet ExplorerThrough the construction of this system, we can simplify the inquiry procedures of equipment; implement the functions in collection management, document management, archiving management, lending management, maintenance management, background management, etc. And by using setting the rights management, we can make it possible to manage the safety and reliability of the system. The establishment of system can greatly improve the efficiency of the equipment management, use the equipment effectively and reduce the purchasing cost.
