In the21st century, the global competition among enterprises has been transformedinto the competition between supply chains. Logistics activities as an important link inthe supply chain directly affect the competitiveness of the supply chain. The utilizationof the logistics supply chain collaboration can integrate all enterprise logistics resources,enable supply chain logistics system to achieve efficient operation. As a closeinter-contacting industry, tobacco industry has accept the idea of collaborative supplychain logistics. China Tobacco Chuanyu Industrial Co. Ltd as one of the core businessof tobacco supply chain, also plans to build a information platform supportingcollaborative supply chain logistics, to strengthen the logistics business managementand monitoring. In this context, this paper carried out research and development.Based on logistics informatization status of China Tobacco Chuanyu Industrial,in-depth research for an integrated logistics management platform for the tobaccosupply chain is conducted. A detailed analysis the requirements of the platform isconducted, innovating the platform construction method, the architecture, functionalityand other aspect. This paper studies include:(1) As a typical tobacco industrial enterprise, the various logistics businessprocesses of China Tobacco Chuanyu Industrial is investigated. The business processesof cigarette logistics are described. Requirements of logistics informatization proposedby modern logistics methodology on strategy requirements, management requirementsand functional requirements is analyzed. The objectives of platform building is set.(2) Planning, building procedure and technology of an integrated managementplatform of logistics is introduced. After selecting the construction ideas, objectivesfrom business operations, business management, business decision-making isdetermined. Content such as the resources, information, collaboration etc. is set. Followthe basic principles of the Enterprise Architecture (EA), its framework is hierarchicallydecomposed as business architecture, application architecture, data architecture, etc.Platform building content is divided according to logistics, capital flow, information flow.Feasible suggestions on concrete steps of platform building planning is given. Finally,based on SOA architecture, the design of integrated logistics management platformsystem architecture, and some information technology solutions of the key business issues is introduced.(3) Based on characteristic of tobacco supply chain of China Tobacco ChuanyuIndustrial, the major functional modules, including resource management, transportationmanagement, visual management, cost management and performance appraisal isdeveloped.Practical application shows that the platform can effectively manage resources,information, and funds the tobacco supply chain, reduce the cost and improve theeconomic efficiency. So the users have been strongly affirmed.
