With the rapid development of economic in China, gross national product (GNP)enhances unceasingly, all kinds of commercial Banks appear constantly, the competitionamong banks increasingly fierce, in order to better improve the bank’s corecompetitiveness and achieve the growth of economic profit for banks, banks are seekingbetter ways and management methods, among them, bank performance appraisal is a setof system that is an effective incentives way. Performance appraisal system is used toexamine all employees work performance for the banks, anlayzes the results, and usinga number of incentives to reward and punishment motivates the enthusiasm of the staff,improves employee value. Developing performance appraisal system in the commercialbanks, that can effectively improve the bank’s competitiveness in the peer, improveseconomic efficiency and management level of the bank.on the basis of the detailed investigation of the current bank performanceevaluation mechanism, the author researches and analyzes the problems in the bankperformance appraisal work in-depth, on the basis of full accessing to user’s actualdemand, finds the best technical solutions and to develop and construct the system, thework such as the demand analysis, function design, database design, systemimplementation and run testing are developed step by step. Based on the.net platform,the development of the system uses the B/S architecture model, using the Visual Studio2008and SQL2005as the integrated development tools and database managementplatform, using the object-oriented programming language c#language, it provides apowerful, easy-to-use, logical structure, consistent programming environment for thesystem, which makes the operation of the program is more stable than ever, safety.System finally achieves five function modules including basic information management,system management, performance appraisal management, assessment of businessmanagement and information management and so on.The application of the Bank performance appraisal management system in thebank, that can change the traditional drawbacks of statistical work by hand, not only caneffectively reduce the bank’s investment management costs and improve the efficiencyof assessment work, but also strengthen banking supervision among variousdepartments, achieves the purposes of optimizing bank management. In addition, the usage of bank performance appraisal system, enables banks performance managementwith these modern advanced concepts and knowledge, by means of information toregulate performance appraisal mechanism of the commercial banks, that makes theassessment more fair and equitable, cultivating qualified personnel for banks, so as toachieve sustainable development of commercial banks.
