The current water operation market is developing from a decentralized to acentralized way of management. As one of the management tool, managementinformation system of water operation is either immature or impractical, which greatlyconstraints the collectivized water operation management level because the data is notupdated on timely basis so that the management can not acquire the updated operationaldata so that appropriate decision-making by the management is delayed. According tothe specific operation of our company and the impact of collectivized managementmode, I design a management information system of water operation to better solve thepractical problem mentioned above.Based on the thorough analysis of the production operation monitoring, equipment/facilities management, maintenance and repair management, spare parts storagemanagement and basic data maintenance and assistance in the establishment of theoperation management system of sewage treatment plants, management informationsystem of water operation based on.NET is developed by adopting the B/Sdevelopment mode based on.NET and the development platform of LXMPLAT3todesign all the functional modules and database system. The operation system of thedatabase server is Windows2003Server and the database server is equipped withOracle9i database; the operation system of the application server is Windows2003Server that is equipped with IIS. All the programs developed are deployed in the IIS;internal users access the application server through IE browser to complete various dataprocessing; external users must access the system only through the VPN. This systemrealizes all the operations of the water operation plants including the project exhibition,production statistics, asset management, operation management, document management,plan management and report management.Advanced management information system of water operation is of greatimportance to the future production and operation and can help managers to monitor thewhole water operation and timely acquire the first-hand data from the production line tomake a specific analysis so as to lay a solid foundation for the following adjustment ofthe operation. In addition, this system can save enormous manpower, material resourcesand financial resources for the enterprise. In the changed system, decision makers can easily acquire the real-time data of any operating unit and check the specific conditionsof all kinds of products, which makes management simple and practical. Through thedatabase of production and operation management, the data collected by the controllevel are directly applied to the daily work of the management to reduce the unnecessarydelay and the possible human errors in information transmission process, therefore themanagement&control and plan&production are closely integrated to achieve the goalof unification of management and control and to utilize the management informationsystem of water operation to a maximum extent.This thesis uses.NET technology to develop the management information systemof the water operation and provides the useful experiences for the research&development of the water operation management for other collectivized companies inwater operation industry.
