In all walks of life as a major branch of virtual reality (VR), virtual roaming technology hasdeveloped rapidly, including medicine, tourism, construction, games and aerospace. Virtual Tourtechnology with3I features that immersion, ideas, and interactivity, which is pushing it to thedevelopment of valuable, which is quite the technology and systems simply can not be comparedwith factors other roaming technology and systems followed and fixed roaming path means. Thevirtual campus is a very important application of virtual roaming technology, virtual campus isbound to be the future trends of the digital campus information, it can support the management ofthe resources of the University School of reality, school development, environmental planning andremote access and many other features, as it can provide three-dimensional virtual environment. In this thesis, the related technologies: rapid modeling the scene of the virtual campusroaming system, maps drawn, roaming capabilities to achieve and function of thehuman-computer interaction realization I retrieve and read the relevant information anddocumentation of existing virtual the the campus roaming technology and three-dimensional scenestructure technology, and selected on the basis of the framework program, the development ofDirectX and C++-based virtual campus roaming system. The topic modeling options3DSMaxcombined with DirectX, three-dimensional modeling of the scene is the most important work ofthe study, the first use of the actual situation and the method and process to construct a virtualscene for clues to create complex static model, taking into account will appear when the virtualscene modeling fidelity display mapping real degree of inconsistency, according to certainprinciples in the design model, optimize virtual campus scene structure. Second is to achieve theinteraction between each user and each scene in a virtual campus roaming system function calls ina component-DirectX DirectInput switching the scene to move the camera to achieve the effect ofswitching. Once again, to achieve the collision detection technology, virtual reality scenes achieveby calling AABB bounding boxes. Finally, the issues through the entire study to design a virtualcampus roaming system, using a combination of C++and DirectX technology, and the system’seffects were tested.
