The Design And Implementation Of The Fixed Assets Management System Based On OCR

This paper discusses how to realize fixed assets management system based on OCRtechnique in the design and development work.As this paper information for the computer to print fonts, so to the part of theinformation recorded, the OCR technology can improve the speed of entry. Fixed assets arerecorded with fixed template information, and then through the OCR recognition, and toidentify the information stored in the computer. Then reduce the artificial operation, andimprove the efficiency of information input.As a result of the paper form OCR is not only to identify the information, but also theinformation according to the field in the database, respectively. So we want to identifylocation identification information, after analysis, we determine to use XML files define thestyle of the paper form, and then the system reads the XML file, according to the templatestyle to OCR paper form, and will identify information according to the area in differentfields. On the analysis of space structure, we adopt the way of connected region search tofind.Finally after the implementation of OCR technology test, we get the recognition effecthas higher identification accuracy. The OCR technology application of fixed assetsmanagement system, in the actual input information in fixed assets, also recognizing thephenomenon of error, but relative to the workload of manual entry, even if the OCR inputinformation of fixed assets combined with artificial check input information time, the inputinformation of the time fixed assets than pure manual entry of fixed asset information time isshorter. Greatly improve the efficiency of the input completely.In this paper, the main design idea is as follows:(1) in the design of function module,determine the OCR business as the core of the business process and main body;(2) usingXML file defines the paper template stylesIn this paper, the main work and contributions are as follows:(1) Based on OCR technology, has realized the OCR recognition of Chinese characters,Numbers, letters, and function of the characters.(2) Design a set of paper form defined rules, using XML file storage, through theimplementation rules defined in paper form in order to read.(3) The entry of fixed assets in working, through the use of the technology greatlyimproves the efficiency of information input.(4) Software from conception, requirement analysis, system design, software development to test completely according to the theory of software engineering, and willthis theory throughout the system design.
