With the continuous development of the economy, China’s iron and steel industryneeds from extensive type to intensive change, iron and steel enterprises began tolook for their own transformation road. Using information system to improveenterprise management level, to accelerate the steps for change, is widely used invarious iron and steel enterprise. In2011, China iron and steel enterprise‘s profitspace gradually reducing, rely on to expand capacity to reduce the cost of productionmode cannot face weak steel market. Iron and steel enterprises both accelerated paceof transformation, Hunan Province Xiangtan iron and Steel Company Limited(referred to as the XISC) is one of them.In this paper, in the production of hot metal consumption of raw fuel as theobject of study, first proposed the function request of system and business processes,system for molten iron cost to day for real-time tracking for target, iron production’skey KPI index for statistical analysis, for the control the cose of iron production,strengthen monitoring provide system support. System function from the original fuelprocurement to the original fuel consumption over, covering iron raw materialsprocurement contract, logistics, warehousing, measurement, quality inspection,settlement, production and other aspects, involving the purchasing department,marketing department, financial department, production department, qualitydepartment, logistics center, technology center, the Ministry of equipment, iron plantcoking plant, and other departments, with the company’s ERP system, equipmentdepartment of weighing measurement software, technology center of Lims system andmany other systems in the presence of data interaction. The system, optimization andimprovement of big batch fuel procurement management process, strengthen the bigbatch fuel procurement management process control, to ensure that a large amount ofraw fuel procurement controlled; strengthen the procurement plan management,implementation of purchasing plan, purchase order to buy it closed loop management,improve the supplier evaluation system; strengthen into the factory bulk fuel processquality management, accelerate the speed of increase quality inspection, qualityinspection process security controllability, jam flaw, ensure data truth, accurate,controllable, ensure iron needed for the production of raw material quality is stable;according to lean production requirements, refine iron consumption management, strengthening the bulk of raw fuel inventory management, thus reducing the cost ofthe iron producting, improve efficiency.In the domestic iron and steel enterprises are from extensive management tointensive management change process, There is no successful cases, from the angle ofenterprise information system in iron cost fine management. In the domestic iron andsteel enterprise information system, this system is the first one of the procurement ofraw materials from the beginning to the molten iron production completed the wholeprocess of the calculation of iron production cost of enterprise information system. Itis based on iron and steel enterprise of iron production management situation, useinformation technology tools and equipment, put forward series of cost accountingmodels such as material, price, inventory and so on, will be the site of the productionprocess is transformed into a mathematical model, construction of iron and steelenterprise cost accounting of iron from extensive management to intensivemanagement provides a the comprehensive data analysis platform, the realization ofthe iron and steel enterprises to establish cost oriented production organization mode.
