"The Chongqing Daily Joint Version Of" Research

During the Anti-Japanese War in China, the Nationalists and Communists establ-ished a United Front to fight back invaders,and after a while, Japanese implemented big bombings of Chongqing in waves On May3and May4,1939,which caused great losses to all walks of life,including the media.In this situation, ten newspapers in Chongqing didn’t haggle over things past and established "Chongqing Newspapers Jointly"(hereinafter referred to as "Jointly") to unite to defend homeland.This move contributed to form strong Anti-Japanese National United Front. However,few news history scholars studied it deeply.On condition of full possession of firsthand material about "Jointly",this article starts with founding background and operating management,and analyzes in detail communication content, communication strategy,communication characteristic and historical contribution about "Jointly" by literature methodology,content analytic method,quantitative statistics method and so on.Through the research, it is found that "Jointly" was founded in the Anti-Japanese War background,also while the Nationali-sts was holding the national spirit sports.Just in three more months,"Jointly" not only established Chongqing newspapers joint committee, subordinate editing committee,m-anager committee and migration committee,but also strictly set up the special adverti-sing distribution system.Under the theme of anti-Japanese,"Jointly" reported ten contents:reporting relief disaster in wartime,communicating Communists’ anti-Japanese opinion,encouraging people to join anti-japanese war positively,reporting positive battlefield situation,den-ouncing the wang ching-wei group,exposing Japanese aggression on China,showing the Japanese weakened strength,concerning about the economy between China and Ja-pan in wartime,paying close attention to international situation,striving for internatio-nal support China."Jointly" mainly made use of five communication strategies:advoc-ating anti-Japanese by media agenda,guiding people with the typical character report, eliminating the pessimistic mood by collaboration,inspiring patriotic emotion by sen-tisentiment,highlighting Japanese weak and China strong in combination with the positive and negative."Jointly" had two communication characteristics:instrument and politics,and not only played an important part in information spreading an mobilization of public opinion,but also promoted indepth development of Anti-Japanese National United Front.
