With the rapid development of science and technology and continuous improvement ofdegree of automation, oil processing enterprises need an increasing demand for automaticmetering and online monitoring system. Accurate measurement is the premise of enterprisecosting, and the accurate measurement of many important parameters in the productionprocess is directly related to the product quality. Real-time on-line measurement and controlof these parameters are an effective method to ensure the safe and efficient operation of theproduction process, achieve high-quality and low-cost and improve market competitiveness.This paper uses embedded processor technology to develop a new fieldinstrumentation-weighing and display controller, and researches the metering managementtechniques of field instruments and host computer integrated control.The weighing controller was designed with ARM11processor according to thecharacteristics of field measurement. The hardware circuit included the sensor signalprocessing circuit, data acquisition module, LCD display and touch screen operation module,communications modules, and input-output control module etc. Multitasking embedded Linuxsystem was ransplanted to the hardware platform, the u-boot and Liunx kernel was croppeddepending on the hardware circuit, at the same time making a lightweight file system. Moduledrivers were written for each hardware operation. The paper analyzed the control flows ofmany weighing system such as a hopper type triple blanking, and wrote the applicationprogram for the system. Digital filtering program is designed in order to avoid the fluctuationsof signal and noise impact caused by the shocks of blanking. An air volume self-correctionalgorithm was designed to improve the measurement precision effectively. The paper alsotransplanted QT/Embedded based on the Linux system, wrote QT interactive interfaceprogram to make convenient for user operation of the instrument and parameter settings andmore intuitive scene display.The paper implemented field data collections based on fieldbus technology and computercommunication technology, relying on the field instruments. Using VisualBasic2008software, the host computer parsed, classified, displayed and stored data which are from the underinstrument. Using SQL Server database for data storage and management, the system is ableto manage operation records on the host computer, at the same time, it can make reportstatistic, analysis and print the scene data, including batch history data, production of each daydata, the total amount of production accumulated data, etc.The paper discusses the problems that exist in the study of overall management of oilenterprise solid material measurement. Because the development of instrumentation futurewill be the direction of intelligent and network, the system can be joined with the wirelesscommunication module, WEB access and other functions in the host computer managementsoftware to meet the requirements of the information technology.
