In the process of oil production, multiphase flow measurement and remotemonitoring technology can be used to accurately understand oil and gas wellproduction change, analyse production, reasonably control and adjust productionprocess. The technology can meet the existing oil and gas well productionmanagement and increase production efficiency. But generally the current remotemonitoring system for oil well has some shortage. The construction cost ishigh,cumbersome to install, as well,the later maintenance cost is high. These factorsresult in the current remote monitoring system promotion slowly, and the coveragerate low.In the view of this situation, combining the latest development of the embeddedtechnology, put forward a kind of distributed system design scheme for oil wellmeasurement and remote monitoring.According to the characteristics of multiphase flow separation device, the fielddata acquisition and processing part of the entire system is divided into three mainmodule: the data display terminals in control room, the data acquisition terminal nearthe front-end separator, multi-well selection controller. The communication betweenthe field data acquisition terminal and control room is realized by using the short-range Zigbee wireless LAN., measurement data in the metering station is sent toremote data center through the GPRS. Data center is responsible for all of the dataanalysis and processing. Making full use of advantages including low cost and highstability of ZigBee as well as the remote transmission and permanent on-line of GPRS.This system builds the management system for the centralized management anddistributed measuring data query. The system has many functions, such as dataacquisition, remote transmission, remote monitoring, web publishing, etc.Design and implement Acquisition Terminal, Multi-well Selection Controllerand GPRS DTU, by combining STM32micro-controller (based on Cortex-M3) anduC/OS-II RTOS. Design and implement Data Display Terminal,by using the S3C6410mirco-processor (based on ARM11) and Android OS. Realize the practical applicationof Android OS in oil well multiphase measurement and monitoring field, includinghardware design and implementation, the transplantation of Android OS, the bottomdriver development, the application development and the system debugging. The field experiments show that this system completely realized the designedfunctions including automatic metering, remote monitoring, history search andautomatically generating various reports and data curves, as well as the advantages ofhigh efficiency and metering accuracy. The new system in several aspects have a greatadvance, such as reduced the equipment cost, simplified the hardware and softwareinstallation procedures, convenient maintenance, enhanced generality of each module,etc. The new system will not only produces positive effect to the promotion ofmultiphase flow measurement and remote monitoring system, but also greatlyaccelerate the process of our oil field change to the digital information oil field.
