China is the world’s largest cigarette production and consumption country. Thetax benefit achieved752.95billion Yuan in2011, an increase of22.5%and turnedover to the state finance600.118billion Yuan, an increase of22.8%. However, behindits huge profits, a series of problems have been gradually exposed such as the highdistribution cost, backward infrastructure and slow response to the market. And withthe international tobacco giants continually pressure, Chinese tobacco industry needsto face the multiple pressures from domestic and foreign.Cigarette Distribution Center is the important support for tobacco industry andmainly responsible for the storage, sorting and distribution of cigarettes, it is the lastlink of tobacco supply chain and the most direct link to face the customer and is alsothe most problematic link. This study takes the cigarette distribution center as anobject, to the basis of supply chain management and inventory management, startingfrom industrial and commercial cooperation to study the cigarette inventory of thedistribution center. This article establishes an inventory optimization model and ahybrid scheduling model to optimize the cigarette inventory quantity and the storagespaces of the cigarettes and use traditional ABC classification to optimize the varietiesof cigarettes. Final analyze the use of data mining technology in the cigarettedistribution center.This study effectively reducing the inventory levels of the cigarette distributioncenter by setting the ordering point and delivery point and realized the control ofinventory cost; By setting the hybrid scheduling model of multi high-rise warehousewith traditional flat storehouse to ensuring intelligent management while achievingflexible storage operations, improved the cigarette distribution efficiency; Throughthe cigarette ABC classification to optimize the cigarette varieties and greatly improvethe utilization rate of capacity. This study on one hand to strengthen themarket-controlling power of the industry enterprise and on the other hand to optimizethe inventory structure of the business enterprise, finally enhance overall operationalefficiency of the tobacco supply chain and achieve a "win-win".
