The Key Technology Research Of Set-up Boxes Based On The Android

With the rapidly growing popularity of the Android system in a variety of end electronic equipment such as digital TV set-top boxes in recent years, Android operating system has become a trend. Most operations of the set-top box device are completed by wireless or Bluetooth remote controller, which generally only have the arrow keys, confirm and back key. Since the set-top boxes in the operation of the software and the traditional touch screen is the main mode of operation of the device is very different, so we need to be customized to meet specific functional requirements of the setup of the Android system comes.In this paper, based on the hierarchy of the Android system and Android application development framework, firstly we rewritten the overall structure of the control interface and implement the3D effect of the interface to adapt the use of the household consumers of all ages; Secondly, we added support to the wired network based on the network framework of Android system, and developed the control application of the wired network. Thirdly, we developed the control application of STB combined with the characteristics of the set-top box product; Finally, we added network functions such software upgrades and product registration.The settings module runed well after a long period of testing, had a better operability and reached the expected standard. System UI, Page-Turn Animation, Network management operated normally.
