The gradual deepening of China’s modernization leads to the rapid development ofinformationization of all industries. Enterprises represented by financial industry,telecommunications industry and manufacturing industry have quicken the building of anew generation of large data centers and communication centers, which proposes higherrequirements for the environment of computer rooms. New computer rooms must meet thedemands for being unattended for24hours, being ready to collect operational data, andbeing able to have a real-time control of the whole situation. This has become the commongoal of the industry.Firstly, this thesis analyzes the status quo and the need of current financial datacenters, and finds it important to adopt3D monitoring system. On the basis of researcheshome and abroad, and by analyzing customers’ needs, this thesis proposes the designinggoal, necessity and feasibility of3-D monitoring system.Secondly, based on the design background and environment of China’s ConstructionBank Beijing Branch which has three computer rooms respectively in Yangqiao, Changanand Yizhuang, this thesis analyzes the structure of all their monitoring systems and reachesthe conclusion that the data centers’ monitoring system is horizontally divided into threeparts: equipment acquiring, network and software; while vertically it is divided into fiveparts: environment monitoring sub-system for cabinets, power monitoring sub-system forcabinets, environment monitoring sub-system for the whole computer centers, capitalmonitoring sub-system for RFID, and environment monitoring management platform.Then, this environment monitoring management platform, as part of softwaredevelopment, can be achieved by adopting the technical system of Java platform. Thestructure of the system is B/S, which is convenient to deploy and use; Apache Tomcat isused for the Web publisher; the database adopts Oracle9i/10G and Java3D to build avirtual environment so that it will achieve WYIWYG operation and high-quality userexperience.At last, this thesis summarizes the problems and solutions during the development of the monitoring system. After being used in practice, this system proves to be practical,safe, stable, visual and efficient.
