Kellner talked more about hot media events, he believed that the so-calledspectacle was based on the mass media for discussion, it is the mass media caused all sorts ofspecial social phenomenon.Debord and Kellner can be seen from the discussion, the " spectacle " is a new socialand cultural phenomenon, it is mostly based on a characterization of the visual image, whichhas a lively surface and attractive cultural in form, it has a directly relationship with thecapitalist society. With the rapid development of China ’s economy,and the coming of theconsuming age, in today’s Chinese society, the spectacle activities are occurring anywhere,such as television programs which were packed with a wide variety of forms, showing brightand lively characterization, they were all from the view of visual perception so that looksvery lively or beautiful. In fact, it ’s often tangled behind complicated issues of social power,business interests, popular entertainment, cultural hegemony, ideological struggles,technology and visual effects is just one intermediary, the intermediary is connected to allkinds of medias-the social spectacle of the phenomenon, and the other end connected to theinvisible of social rights and expansion and control of capital, Proliferation desires andaspirations.The spectacle was Mainly talking about the present media culture, the Chinese media inrecent years has a rapid development, although they are difficult to have their ownindigenous programs, mostly to the introduction of foreign program types, They based onnational programs making them into programs which were suitable for Chinese people, from the Draft programs of " Super voice of Girls" in2004, and the blind date type of program of"You Are the One" in2010, as well as the current "Dad where to go,"" I am a singer," andother reality shows, all of the scene is vast and mainly to show off, triggered a frenzy ofChina’s ratings, so that lively, funny, good-looking become the basic elements of thespectacle.This paper mainly make the" You Are the One " as an example, which has the highestratings in blind date type of programs.
