With the rapid development of information technology, as an emerging industryIOT (Internet of Things) get worldwide attention, its application prospects in variousindustries give us unlimited imagination, especially in traditional industries likemedical field. By means of the latest information technology, the health managementtheory and research of Medical IOT which provide patient with remote monitoring,remote education, and remote management, have become the industry’s researchfocus. In recent years, diabetes spread very fast in our country,the characteristics ofthe diseasemake too many difficulties for the existing management model to copewith, so the industry-related researchers have begun to seek a new solution andcountermeasures.The majority of diabetics take self-management out of hospital, this situationcauses the disease information flow jam, and it means that the communicationbetween patients and doctors is limited by time and space.In the eye of the existinginformation management systems, information collection, information transmission,information storage, information processing, and information output are all in a stateof disorder, the outdated technology and unclear management processes make it. Withthe rise of the Internet of Things technology, sensor technology, and wirelesscommunication technology, health care and services becomes touchable, and peoplecan get it anytime and anywhere. By using the latest IOT technology, combinedsensor and communication technology with diabetes management processes,thediabetes management information system will provide people with more efficient andconvenient health management services.This paper takes the problem of diabetes management as starting point,with thehelp of IOT technology, the system can collect information of the patient’s vital signsin real-time, and achieve thefunction ofinformation collection, transmission,storages.On the other hand the system uses information technology, communicationstechnology, computer technology to process the information and provide criterionsfor a doctor to develop diabetes management program, and finally send theprescription to the patient,then monitor implementation. The system lower thelimitations of the patient self-management ability, and solve the problem of one-way communication in the telemedicine, so that diabetics and doctors can be connectedanywhere and anytime, it solve the problem of diabetes management easily.Systemsbreak through the intermediate links of diabetes management information, makinginformation exchange more efficiently.
