As China's ageing of the population and the increasing incidence of obesity, the incidence of diabetes was increasing year by year. China has a wealth of diabetes health care resources, but it has never been a scientific and effective management. How to make full use of the existing resources by information technology has become the new point of concern.By analyzing the Hospital Information System, the thesis proposes a Diabetes Information Management System (DIMS) based on .NET platform and mixed mode. DIMS has achieved the management of diabetes information and greatly enhanced the efficiency of the work of medical staff. Using the pattern of development of B/S and C/S combined structure, makes effective use of the advantages of the various patterns; Data pretreatment technology is utilized to extract Random Access Materials effectively, it provides an effective database for medical research; Object-Oriented design methods is used to make the database be founded dynamically, which solves the problem of the database extension; To reduce the quantity of code and the chance of mistake, NHibernate is used to implement data persistence layer, which makes the system be extensible and robust; Use rule-based data classification algorithm to achieve the type of diabetes automatically infer function, it makes diabetes data be effectively classified.At first, the thesis introduces the analysis of DIMS demand and the total design. Then it uses the realization of the given examples to illustrate that how to develop the system and the running mechanism. These examples verify the feasibility and manipulability. Finally, the paper sums up our work during the design and development, and discusses how to improve the system in the future.
