Design And Implementation Of Music Database System

With the acceleration of modernization drive and rapid development of pop music,the traditional music resource of China is faced with severe situation that a large numberof traditional music works are rapidly disappearing with historical evolvement. So it is ofgreat significance to make the best use of modern technologies to implement the digitalstorage and management of traditional music resource.Aiming at the management problem of traditional resource and the poor expansibilityof current database systems, this thesis designs and develops a general music databasesystem based on metadata standard. First, it classifies the different traditional musicresource and develops music metadata standard, then describes and packages the musicresource data based on metadata standard. Then it designs and develops the sortmanagement of music database with database field mapping at the core which guaranteesthe commonality of this system. Finally, it develops a centralized service system withconsolidated storage of resource based on the J2EE norms, and implementsmultidimensional search of music resource.Based on demand analysis of this system, the thesis develops music metadatastandard, and then implements design and development of music database system. Finally,the system passes the function and performance test successfully.
