With the huge demand increased for broadband, optical networksbecome more and more fast, as the core device of the optical networks, theoptical modules become more and more important and demand becomeurgent.QSFP+(Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable Plus) borne to meet themarket demand for higher density of high-speed pluggable solutions. The4-channel pluggable interface transfer rate up to40Gbps.Multiple protocolsto support multiple data transfer rates as well as Ethernet, Fiber Channel andInfiniBand, an economical and practical solution for short distancetransmission.QSFP+as an optical fiber solution, speed and density are better thanthe4-channel SFP+interface. Support four channels of date transmissionspeed of10Gbps per channel with same sizes of SFP. So the density of theQSFP+can reach4times of SFP products,3times of SFP+product. Has4channels and the density is higher than the SFP, QSFP+interface has beenadopted by the InfiniBand standard.QSFP+production currently has huge market demand, but theproduction process various result the capacity is not enough. The gapbetween the demand and production manufactured become the urgentproblem and need solution.The Six Sigma management methods and ideas were used on theproduction manufactured, combine system analysis idea. On the article theSix Sigma tools such as Flow chart, Pareto Chart, Fishbone Diagram, DOE,Minitab were used. Contact with production process, states a detailed SixSigma DMAIC general used process. The article firstly introduces the QSFP+work principle, the problems,and then introduces the Six Sigma. Develop a monitoring method for theQSFP+production test systems.Secondly, use QSFP+process yield improve project as a sample,introduces Six Sigma tools, the detail tools used method and the matter needattention.The article can be reference to the similar enterprise and Six Sigmamanagement researchers.
