As the information system has been used extensively in business, SAP systemimplementation of technology has gradually matured. Most of domestic enterprises haverealized the computer management in individual business,such as in office, finance,personnel management, inventory management and so on. Quite a number of enterpriseshave started to use SAP/ERP software.China Life Insurance (Group) Co. and its subsidiaries constitute the largestcommercial insurance group in china, and its the only insurance group whose asses areover one million. In such a large organization, as the original system can not satisfy theneeds of the business with the development of the business,the growth in date rates, andthe more and more strong demond in fast development and system integration, it isimperative to introduce the SAP system.As the background of the needs of China Life Insurance Co. to manage the purchasesof assets, the author design and test a system,which managers the assets based on SAPsystem.First, the writer describes in detail the architecture of SAP asset procurementmanagement system and the main tools of the developments and developmentenvironment.Second, in the needs of China Life Insurance Co. the writer sets a target of the systemdesign, using the fountain model of the overall top-down planning, bottom-up applicationdevelopment, describes the specific design and optimizes the process of the original SAPsystem.Finally, the author implements the system and testing as the design, and based on thetest results which had came out from the implementation of the system.
