Research On The Operating Efficiency Of Dairy Product Cold Chain For Modeling And Simulation Based On Petri Net

With the rapid development of high-technology, questing for variable patterns ofconsumption and convenient life style, more and more people crave for fresh vegetablesand fruits, frozen food, sea food, and dairy products. Because of the diversity,uncertainty and dynamics of dairy product cold chain, it is hard to handle the supplychain management of companies. Due to the increasingly fierce competition betweencompanies, dairy product companies have to minimize cost and cut down the deliverydate at the same time. Thus, in order to enhance the operating efficiency and bettersatisfy the need of customers, dairy product company should cooperate with suppliers,distributors and retailers intimately.Supply chain operation is a complex and dynamic process, which cannot beanalyzed and solved in ordinary method. Simulation mythology becomes one of themost efficient tools to solve the complex supply chain system. For the purpose of costreduction and risk reduction, appealing to computer simulation mythology to simulatethe process of supply chain operation and offer the decision making solutions becomesmore and more popular. Computer simulation mythology has its own advantages tosimulate the complex supply chain system in deed.Based on the characteristics of dairy product cold chain and the analysis of variablehigh-level Petri nets, this paper offers a new model named Hierarchical Object–OrientedPetri Nets which combines hierarchical Petri nets and object-oriented method.Hierarchical Object-Oriented Petri Nets perfectly integrates the advantages of layeringof hierarchical Petri nets and modularization of object-oriented mythology, which suitsfor the dairy product cold chain model. After building the hierarchical model, principlechain and subchain of diary product cold chain, this paper uses Flexsim to simulatesupply chain of certain dairy product company and analyze the simulation results.Aiming at bottleneck problem like availability of resources, this paper offers a solutionto enhance the operating efficiency of dairy product company.
