In recent years, the dairy industry is experiencing a rapid development. The YiliGroup, in order to meet the market demands, has taken a series of measures to keeppace with the market, such as improving the quality of products, investing cold chaintransportation funds, increasing transportation efficiency, reducing the price andmeeting the personalized needs. This thesis mainly discusses the design andimplementation of the cold chain transportation intelligent management system in theYogurt Department of Yili Group. Within the dairy industry, the Yili group was one ofthe earliest that applied the transport process transparent management concept,combining with advanced information means, to keep the dairy products under strictcontrol at each stage of the refrigerated transport process, so that it not only can meetthe national temperature standards, but also greatly improved logistics transportationtime through the management, and it guaranteed the products delivery timely rate,reduced logistics costs, and improved customer satisfaction.This thesis mainly covered the establishment process of the intelligenttransportation system platform, based on their own business characteristics of the YiliGroup. Through the combination of GPS technology and the daily businessmanagement, it can have full control over the whole process from raw milkpurchasing and transportation to the milk product delivery. This thesis includes: firstly,it discussed the current business process in Yili Group and in turn analyzed thevarious needs for information system in the logistics operations. Secondly, it designedthe whole system framework, established network and functioning structure graph,and implemented the basic systemic framework, according to the specific needs;thirdly, combining advanced information technology and GPS hardware end terminalsto implement visible monitor, and installing the temperature probe, satellite carterminal, displays, door magnet and other equipment in the cold chain transportationvehicles. All different kinds of data will be collected to the car terminal. The terminalwill respond and send the data through the Internet and GPRS network to the back endserver, where the data will be analyzed and finally showed in the system electronicmap. For instance, the temperature data of different area from temperature probe, dooropen-closed data from door magnet and so on, and to show the analyzed the datadirectly on the displays at last. Meanwhile, the background management system can login the system within its monitoring accessibility, and query relevant information inthe process of transportation, such as the temperature change, door magnetic and coldmachine switch situation, and the traffic situation. Besides that, the monitoringplatform can remind the driver by setting the relevant alarms, such as fatiguedriving-alarm, over speed alarm, ultra high temperature alarm, illegally opening thedoor alarm, shear line alarm, disaster alarm, etc. Fourthly, after the implementation ofthe system functioning modules, it tests the stability and practicability of the system inthe daily operations, and it also analyze the test results and to continuously improvedits load capacity, responsiveness, and reliability.The Cold chain transportation management system designed in this thesis hasbeen used in the Yili Group in Inner Mongolian, and performed effectively and itsindicators can meet the requirements of users.
