Abstract/Summary:
The raw water of water plant of city water supply is composed of surface water andunderground water. The water supply well of underground water locates in suburb anddistributes abroad. The research on video information collecting and monitoring based onFPGA has important practical applications. Based on the design requirements of water plant,this paper presents an overall design scheme of wireless video monitoring system based onFPGA, and designs each module of front end of the3G wireless video monitoring systembased on FPGA. Receiver-side test program is written. It is used to finishes the test work.The front end of this system captures video data by PAL video camera through CVBSinterface. This system uses EP2C35main chip of DE2development board to design andimplement video decode module. By the way of software and hardware combination, itdesigns and optimizes H.264compression module. The system transplants the LWIP onUC/OSâ…¡ and designs data receive and transmission scheduling method of wireless datatransmission. In the development part, SOPC platform of Niosâ…¡is built on SOPC Builder.This system uses UC/OSâ…¡ operating system to implement task scheduling and capsulatewireless transport protocol. The video capture and A/D conversion are accomplished byVerilog HDL.This paper also designs a Nios â…¡ test module. It accomplished the Socketcommunication to the sending side and other functions by C++.The system reserves watersupply well data interface. It can be used to add water supply well parameters to thecapsulation module, and meet the need of the demand the parameters transmit with videotogether. Test result shows that this system meets the need the demand and optimizes thecurrent water supply well monitoring system.
